Qualigenics Diabetes Centres (Hong Kong)
The Qualigenics Centre for Diabetes and Endocrine Disorders was established in 2002 in cooperation with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Medicine. Its two clinics are located at Pier 3, Central, Hong Kong and at Prince of Wales Hospital, Shatin, Hong Kong. The centres provide focused protocols for the prevention and treatment of diabetes. Their services include comprehensive diabetes screening, weight management programs, medical consultations, nutrition, patient education, and medication administration training.
The centres also provide General Physician training in diabetes protocols and perform clinical trials for research in diabetes medication. The centres are open to family physicians and specialists who want to use them as a practice and training platform.
CardioMed Heart Centres (Hong Kong)
CardioMed Heart Centre operates an outpatient comprehensive cardiovascular center at Pier 3 in Central, Hong Kong for cardiac and cardiovascular care. Its cardiologists are supported by the latest cardiovascular screening equipment including electrocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, ultrasound, echo ultrasound, and an advanced high-speed 16-slice CT.
It is part of the cooperation with the Chinese University of Hong Kong and complements the work of Qualigenics in lifestyle-related chronic diseases.
