The first Healthway Medical Center in Guangzhou had its soft opening this month. Located at the new Zhujiang area near the major international hotels and right across the new Guangzhou Children’s Hospital, the new clinic occupies over 1,000 sqm. on the second floor, with access from the streetfront entrance. Complete with imaging equipment and laboratory facilities, the new Healthway Guangzhou is aiming for multi-specialty medical services and health screening services. It is targeted at Hong Kong doctors who want a convenient practice platform in Guangzhou.

Already our subsidiary company Health & Care Dental (Novodontics) has opened a dental practice there. This will be followed by Ammed Cancer Center and Qualigenics Diabetes Center and Cardiomed Heart Center which will also operate satellite clinics there. The Ruijin-AmMed Cancer Center in Shanghai was formally inaugurated last November 26, 2007. The facility includes a 20-bed inpatient center, a chemotherapy infusion center, an IGRT radiotherapy center, and a cancer patient-support institute. A supporting PET-CT facility is also available within the hospital in another building. Located at the Ruijin Hospital Outpatient Building, the center occupies two floors. It is a joint venture between Ammed International Limited and the Ruijin Hospital.

The Healthway Medical clinic at the CDW Building at Tsuen Wan was officially opened today. It is the 4th clinic of Healthway Medical Hong Kong. Occupying an area of over 6,000 sq.ft., the clinic is equipped with Digital X-Ray, a multi-purpose ultrasound machine, a treadmill machine, a day-surgery room, an endoscopy room, and a large dispensary. AmMed Cancer Center opened its third center in Jordan last 18^th Aug, 2007. Located at the Pearl Oriental Building on Nathan Road, Jordan, the new center provides patients with consultation, chemotherapy services and laboratory services in the setting of an outpatient oncology clinic.

AmMed Cancer Resource Center (ACRC) is the first cancer patient-support and cancer prevention center in Shanghai. Healthway and H&C launch shared healthcare service at the G/F of China Insurance Group Building on Connaught Road in Central. Under the same roof serving as sub-clinics, Healthway provides general practice (GP) and limited specialty services while H&C offers general dental cleaning and consultation services. The Healthway Medical clinic at the Wai Fung Plaza at Mongkok was officially inaugurated today. The facility is shared with the Qualigenics Diabetes Centre and the CardioMed Heart Centre whose clinic in Shatin has been relocated here. Occupying an area of over 6,000 sq.ft. on the 10th floor, the facility is complete with X-ray equipment, an ultrasound facility, a treadmill, an outpatient surgery room, and a large dispensary. The Wai Fung Plaza is located on Nathan Road at the heart of Mongkok, right on top of the MTR station, and houses other large medical groups and check-up centres.
